Duvall’s own singer/songwriter brings his unique style of county music home. Always captivating and inspiring, Austin was just listed in “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone Magazine.

July 25th                                                                                                                       Shaggy Sweet                  Popular Rock

Since 2009, Shaggy Sweet’s eclectic mix of Blues/Rock/R n’ B cover songs and original compositions have been captivating audiences all over the Pacific Northwest.  Cover songs spanning multiple decades by Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Beatles, John Mayer, and Tom Petty among many other classic rock and current artists are mainstays of the band’s repertoire, and always have audiences on their feet.

August 1st

File Gumbo                   Swamp Rocking Boogie

File Gumbo plays Swamp Rockin’ Boogie including a full spectrum of Louisiana sounds from Cajun/Zydeco to New Orleans’s R&B, Swamp Rock’n Roll, Blues and Dixieland Jazz. This high-energy band has wowed festival crowds from the Clambake in Coos Bay to Bumbershoot in Seattle. The Seattle Times says File Gumbo “are the guys you’d expect to see jamming around a barrel in a back bayou general store. They’re the real deal.”

August 8th                                                                                                                       Nick Drummond Band               Upbeat Alt Folk

Formerly with his legendary band The Senate, the Seattle Weekly praises this singer/songwriter as “an absolutely stellar combination of upbeat-alternative folk that’s mesmerizing and radiates talent.”

August 15th                                                                                                               Crow Quill Night Owls   Jug Band / Ragtime Jazz

The Crow Quill Night Owls play an infectious, foot-stomping mix of early blues, jazz, tin pan alley, pop songs, ragtime, jug band, and hillbilly music from the 1920’s and 30’s. In the style of the Memphis Jug Band, they draw from a pool of local artists so come and hear some of the best underground musicians of this style the Seattle area has to offer.

August 22

Massey Ferguson            Rockin’ Americana / Roots

Steeped in classic Americana that leans more toward rock than country, the band’s songs are filled with barflies, broken hearts and late-night romance. After their breakout album “Run Right Into the Wall”, Massy Ferguson played to sold out concerts throughout the United Kingdom. Folk UK Radio said “if you happen to be to be partial to straight-ahead punch the sky southern roots rock with a side order of beer swilling choruses, then climb aboard and put the pedal down.”

This project is supported, in part, by an award from 4Culture.
