4 Culture Call for Artists

Sound Transit’s STart program is establishing a roster of pre-qualified artists for public art projects throughout the agency’s three-county service area in the greater Puget Sound region of Washington State. The roster will be effective for a period of three years and serve as one of the means of selecting artists to create permanent, site-specific artwork for the agency’s expanding transit system. Art projects will vary in size and complexity, with budgets of approximately $30,000 to $600,000. Upcoming opportunities will focus on the East Link Extension (ELE) of light rail connecting downtown Seattle with Mercer Island, Bellevue and Redmond. 4Culture is managing the artist selection process on behalf of Sound Transit.

Deadline: April 01, 2013, 5:00PM PST
Eligibility: Open to qualified professional artists residing in the United States
Budget: Approximately $30,000 – $600,000 per project.

Centennial Project Public Art

The year 2013 will mark the City of Duvall’s Centennial. The City wishes to commemorate this landmark event with public art and is seeking an artist or artists to create sculptures to be placed along a promenade leading to Depot and McCormick Parks. The concept shall be between three and five pieces and represent Duvall’s history.
